ROUND 1
(June 20th, 2012 through July 8th, 2012)
Click above on the "Enter Here" tab and upload an mp3 or Quick Time video of your original music. From these entries, a panel of What A Band judges will select 14 semi finalists to perform live at Youngblood Auto on July 14th in an all day event! All submissions must be original music that the submitting band owns all copyrights to. Each artist or band may only submit one entry, and
must be able to attend and perform at the July 14th event to qualify.
ROUND 2
(July 14th performance and July 17th, 2012 through July 24th performance)
Semi-finalists will preform their original material live at Youngblood Kia on July 14th, where live videos will be recorded of the band performance. The videos from each band's live performance will be posted at
mywhataband.com for public voting from July 17th through 24th.
This will be your chance to rally all of your fans to go online and vote for you! Each fan can vote for their favorite band up to once per day. The three bands who receive the most votes will named finalists and play live on the grandstand stage at The Ozarks Empire Fair on July 28th for the LIVE showdown.
ROUND 3
(July 28th Grand Stand performance and live showdown voting at Ozark Empire Fair Grounds)
Finalists will perform at the Grandstand Stage at The Ozark Empire Fair, July 28th, 2012. After all three bands have performed, audience members will vote via text message for their favorite band. After the ten minute voting window has closed, the band with the most text votes will be crowned the What a Band champion and will play the remainder of the evening for all of the fair fans!
