A storm is brewing in southwest Missouri!
With over seven acres of corn planted and their new mind-boggling design, GRIP Boys Home, with Jim Sherwood's farming expertise, is bringing the "MAiZE craze" back to Missouri for its 14th season. Missouri's original MAiZE opens to the public on September 22nd. GRIP Boys Home is a non-profit located in Verona Missouri, where every fall they operate the corn maze as their annual fundraiser. This year GRIP hopes to give even more people a chance to experience the unique source of good farmin’ fun. There is something for everyone…the cow train, movie nights, hay rides, campfires, country store, hillbilly shootin’ range, corn cannon, boxer jocks, pumpkin chuckin’, farm animals, to name a few. Also, check out Lil’ Kernals CORNer with the corn box, bouncer and games for the young ‘uns. And don’t forget a trip to ‘the feed wagon’ for some of their famous chili, BBQ sandwich and more. It’s all located just six miles West of Aurora, in Verona, Missouri…just a stone’s throw off of Hwy. 60.

The MAiZE will give visitors the chance to "get lost" September 22nd through November 3rd Wednesdays from 5:00pm to 8:30pm, Friday 5:00 – 10:00pm and Saturday 12:00pm to 10:00pm – last ticket sold at posted closing time (closed Sunday – Tuesday, Thursdays). The ‘Field of Screams’ haunted maze starts on September 28th at dark and will run every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Cost is $8 for ages 12 and up, $4 for ages 5-11, and free for veterans and military with ID and kids 4 and under. Field trip hours are Mon – Fri from 9:00am to 2:00pm by reservation only. Discounts are offered for groups and field trips. Six miles West of Aurora, take the Verona turn off (Business 60) and go one mile. Take the first right (Farm Road 1150) for 1 mile. Get lost in The MAiZE!
